Terila pass represents one of the adventurous Mountains journeys which commences from Besishahar along with the panoramic views of natural water falls, rice terraces, unique culture of the ethnic groups of Nepal and the giant Annapurna ranges, untouched Narphu village and the mysterious caves of Mustang (The abode of our ancestors) This trek is one of the best treks of Nepal which lies on the very close border of Nepal and Tibet. It starts from Besisahar and ends at Jomsom or Nayapul. This route departs from Koto of Manang and it is completely camping based trek. You can see the unique culture of Tibetan, their lifestyle, old Buddhist monasteries and different sorts of flora and fauna. Most of the residents of this region are Tibetan but they have written Gurung in their citizenship. We can visit Narphu village along with upper mustang and lower mustang as well. It is completely restricted area from Koto to Kagbeni or Muktinath and all the trekkers need to take special permits for that. This is an adventurous trek and all the trekker must be physically and mentally fit enough for that. The best season for this trek is August to December and March to May.

Day 12: Kharka to Samena Khola (4,220m) 6/7 hours

Day 15: Di to Shyangboche 5/6 hours
Day 16: Shyangboche to Tanbe (3,060m) 5/6 hours
Day 17: Tanbe to Muktinath (3,760m) 6/7 hours

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport is the only one international airport of Nepal from where you will be welcomed with a great hospitality by the representative of United Brothers Trek and Expedition and transferred to the hotel. After having checked in the hotel, we will give you a short briefing about the trip and collect the essential documents (Passport and Photos) from you to issue the trekking permits. You can rest the leisure time exploring around and stay a night at the hotel with breakfast.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu

You can get up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take for full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (the world heritage site). At first, we will drive you to Swayambunath Temple. Swayambunath means self-originated Buddhist Temple which is known as Monkey Temple as well. It is located on the top of the hill from where you can see the superb view of the whole Kathmandu Valley. After having visited this holy temple, we will drive you to Boudha Stupa. It is a holy place for Buddhist and pilgrims which was slightly damaged during due the tremor of 2015 but later rebuilt. It is one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. From here, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple that is pretty close from Boudhanth. Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of the Bagmati River is one of the biggest and most popular Shrines where you can behold for Hindus. Pashupatinath Temple which is the biggest Hindu Temple. You can see the ritual and cremation activities according to the Hindus Culture. At the end of the day, we will return back to the hotel. By the evening, we will take you to a Nepali restaurant for welcome dinner with typical Nepali cultural dance. At last, we will drop you to the hotel and spend a night with breakfast.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m) 6/7 hours

Today we drive to Besishahar which goes through the Prithavi High way. It is 177k far from Kathmandu which may takes at least 6/ 7 hours. On the way to it you can behold the beautiful scenery of countryside, Trishuli River along with Mt. Manaslu. The way departs from Dumre and finally arrives at Besishahar. We stay overnight there at lodge.

Day 04: Drive to Koto (2,600) 6/7 hours

On the next day, we will have breakfast and head to Koto by Jeep which may take approximately 6/7 hours and stay overnight at Koto at Lodge.

Day 05: Koto to Meta (3,660) 5/6 hours

Today the trail is easy and flat at the beginning of our trek and then gradually climbs up through the dense pine forest along the riverside. On the way, we have to cross a small creek. After having crossed the creek, you can see the beautiful lower anonymous peaks along with the green meadows. After 7-8 hours of long walking, we finally arrive at Meta and stay overnight at campsite.

Day 06: Meta to Nar (4,100m) 5/6 hours

The alure goes flat at first and then downhill to the riverside where a check post is located. From here the trail climbs up to Nar village. Nar is one of the remote fortified village of Tibetan people (now known as Bhote) situated in the north- east part of Annapurna circuit trek where the nomad can inspect the ancient Tibetan culture, residences, people's lifestyle as well as the picturesque view of many unnamed peaks including Amotsang Himal (6392m) Jomsom Himal (6581m), Khumjung Himal (6699m), Pisang peak (6092) and Kang guru peak (6990m) in the very close distance. We stay one more day at Nar village for acclimatization.

Day 07: Nar to Yak Kharka 6/7 hours

After having spent two nights at Nar, we continue our journey to Yak Kharka. The trail goes straight at the beginning and then all the way down to meadow and takes the left passage directly, crosses the bridge. After that the way makes a climb up to the Yak Kharka where we spend a night at camp site.

Day 08: Yak Kharka to Labse Khola (4,800m) 5/6 hours

Today, we continue our journey to Labse Khola. From here we follow the left trail straight then a bit uphill and keep going up to Labse Khola along the Riverside where we spend a night at camp site.

Day 09: Lanse Khola to Lungdel 5/6 hours

From here, we continue our journey to Lungdel through the bank of the river about 45 minutes and then cross the river. After that the way is easy and flat and later we have to climb a bit and then the entire trail till Lungdel is flat. We stay overnight at Lungdel at Campsite.

Day 10: Lungdel to Base Camp 6/7 hours

As usual, we commence our trek after breakfast. The trail gently ascends and then flat. After that descends down to the river and crosses it then again makes a climb through zigzag route till base camp. At the end of the day, we will get to base camp and stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 11: Base Camp to Teri La Pass and trek to Kharka 6/7 hours

This is the most difficult day due to the high pass called Teri La Pass (5595m). Due to long way, we have to take packed lunch for today. The trail is up and down and sometime flat. As you get on the top, you will see the outstanding views of numerous nameless small peaks, along with glacier, landscape of Mustang valley. From the top, the trail descends down to the bank of the river and crosses it and finally arrives at Kharka where we spend a night at camp site.

Day 12: Kharka to Samena Khola (4,220m) 6/7 hours

The route slowly goes down and to the huge meadow where we can see yaks, sheep and Himalayan goats. After that we cross the river and follow uphill, pass a hill and then descend down to the river and continue our journey to Samena Khola which takes around 6-7 hours to get there from Kharka. We stay overnight there at camp site.

Day 13: Samena Khola to Tange (3,300m) 6/7 hours

We continue our journey from here to Tange today through up and down route and on the way to it, you can see the breathtaking scenery of natural landscape and Dhaulagiri range along with other beautiful view of the countryside. It takes around 6 to 7 hours to get to Tange from Samen Khola. We stay overnight there at tent.

Day 14: Tange to Di (3,390m) 5/6 hours

we trek to Di and there is no any lodges on the way today. The path is a bit up and goes along the river to Di. On the way, you can see the beautiful scenery of the countryside along with some small peaks, villages and yak pasture. It takes around 5/6 hours to get to Di from Lomanthang. We stay overnight there at tented camp.

Day 15: Di to Shyangboche 5/6 hours

From here, the route goes along the Kaligandaki River and then later it makes a small climb as we get at the bottom of Tsarang village. We stop at Tsarang for lunch and then descend down to Shyangboche through the same way and spend a night there.

Day 16: Shyangboche to Tanbe (3,060m) 5/6 hours

On this day, we take the direct trail to Samar following the way of high above the canyons. On the way to it, you can see the outstanding views of Annapurna range, Nilgiri, Tilicho himal and the green countryside. We have to cross two valley before getting to Samar. After having lunch at Samar, we descend down to the riverside and cross it over the bridge and then follow the same route to Tanbe where we spend a night.

Day 17: Tanbe to Muktinath (3,760m) 6/7 hours

The trail commences with a spectacular view of countryside and natural caves clinging on the wall. The trail is flat at the beginning and then climbs up crossing Tetang village. The trail goes continually through green meadow and after few hours of walking, we will get to the high pass from where we can behold the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains along with the beautiful scenery of Muktinath village. From the pass, the trail is easy and descends down to a creek with unforgettable scenery and crosses it and finally arrives at Muktinath. It is a famous pilgrimage for both Hindu and Buddhist. We spend a night there.  

Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720m) 5/6 hours

After having visited the famous pilgrimage, we continue our journey to Jomsom with the view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and the beautiful scenery of countryside. The trail descends constantly down to Eklobhatti through Jarkot and Kinger village. Today the way is a bit windy after 11am. From Eklobhatti, we follow the same route to Jomsom. Today is the last day of our trek and we celebrate our final day being together by the evening and distribute tips them to thank for their hard working and stay overnight there.

Day 19: Jomsom to Pokhara (820m) fly 30 minutes

Today, we fly back to Pokhara early in the morning with the superb views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna ranges and Fish Tail which takes around 30 minutes, we stay a night at Pokhara.

Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu

We fly or by bus to Kathmandu which takes 30 minutes by flight and 6/7 hours by bus.

Day 21: At Kathmandu

You have whole day free for shopping and packing for your final departure. By the evening there will be a farewell dinner managed by United Brothers Trek and Expedition for the successful trip.

Day 22: Final departure

We will come to the hotel to pick you up and drop to the airport for your final departure 3 hours before of your flight time.
