Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport is the only one international airport of Nepal from where you will be welcomed with a great hospitality by the representative of United Brothers Trek and Expedition and transferred to the hotel. After having checked in the hotel, we will give you a short briefing about the trip and collect the essential documents (Passport and Photos) from you to issue the trekking permits. You can rest the leisure time exploring around and stay a night at the hotel with breakfast.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
You can get up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take for full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (the world heritage site). At first, we will drive you to Swayambunath Temple. Swayambunath means self-originated Buddhist Temple which is known as Monkey Temple as well. It is located on the top of the hill from where you can see the superb view of the whole Kathmandu Valley. After having visited this holy temple, we will drive you to Boudha Stupa. It is a holy place for Buddhist and pilgrims which was slightly damaged during due the tremor of 2015 but later rebuilt. It is one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. From here, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple that is pretty close from Boudhanth. Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of the Bagmati River is one of the biggest and most popular Shrines where you can behold for Hindus. Pashupatinath Temple which is the biggest Hindu Temple. You can see the ritual and cremation activities according to the Hindus Culture. At the end of the day, we will return back to the hotel. By the evening, we will take you to a Nepali restaurant for welcome dinner with typical Nepali cultural dance. At last, we will drop you to the hotel and spend a night with breakfast.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Nagarkot 2/3 hours
After having breakfast, we will drive you to Nagarkot by car which is around 45 km far from Kathmandu. Nagarkot is the popular destination for stunning Mountain View along with sunrise and sunset. It is located near Kathmandu valley where many good lodges are available for accommodation. Nagarkot is situated on the top of the hill from where you can see the magnificent views of entire Langtang range, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. On the way, we will visit Bhaktapru Durbar Square as well. It is one of the oldest cities of Kathmandu Valley where you can observe the old temples, typical Newari houses and their unique culture. It takes around 40 minutes by private car from Bhaktapur to Nagarkot. We stay overnight there at lodge.
Day 04: Nagarkot to Chitwan 6/7 hours
From Nagarkot, We will drive you by private car to Chitwan. It is the third biggest attraction of Nepal after trekking and Kathmandu valley. Royal Chitwan National Park is also listed in UNESCO's World Heritage Site where you can see 50 different species of animals like tigers, leopards, sloth bears etc and 450 different species of birds, one horned rhinoceros, Asian elephants, Gangetic dolphins, crocodile, Marsh Muggers, Gharials, barking deers, spotted deer, hog deer and many more animals. As we get to Chitwan a hotel representative will pick us up check in the hotel. The hotel guide will give you short briefing about the programme. After that we will visit the National Park Visitor's center where we will get to know more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife. At the same time, you will visit the Tharu village very nearby where you will get to be familiar with the lifestyles of the Tharu community. By the evening, you will be served with delicious dinner.
Day 05: In Chitwan
On the next day, after having breakfast, we will go for canoe ride along the Rapti river where you will have a good chance for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial then they would take you to real nature walk with different types of vegetation to get along with different types of flora and fauna. Meanwhile we will visit the Elephant breeding centre as well. After that we will return back to the hotel and hove lunch. Having finished lunch, we will take you for Elephant bathing where you can relax with sip of drinks. By late afternoon, we will go for Elephant safari for 1 hour which is an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You may also encounter with many small mammals of Chitwan. By the evening, we will go to see the special Tharu stick cultural dance program and return back to the hotel. At the end of the programme, you will be provided a dinner.
Day 06: Chitwan to Kathmandu 5/6 hours
This is our final day at Chitwan. Today you will be given a wakeup call with tea or coffee in the morning and then we will go for bird watching with the professional guide. After that we will return back to the hotel and have breakfast. After having done breakfast, we will pack our things and head to Kathmandu which takes around 6 hours. At the end of the day you will get to Kathmandu.
Day 07: Final departure
Today we will drop you to the airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight time.
