Dhaulagiri trek is one of the adventurous trips of Nepal which starts from Beni and ends at Marpha or Jomosom. It is located in the western part of Nepal in Myagdi district that combines the typical Nepalese culture (mainly Magar) along with different sorts of flora and fauna. The word "Dhaulagiri" is derived from Sanskrit language. Dhaula means white and Giri means mountain. Being the 7th highest mountain of the world and the most beautiful peak of Nepal, every year hundreds of tourist come to Nepal to do Dhaulagiri round trekking and expedition to observe it through near. French pass (5360m) is the highest pass of Dhaulagiri circuit trek. The magnificent scenery of Mt. Dhaulagiri Tukuche peak,Dhampush peak, Thapa peak,Nilgiri,Tilicho peak,Annapurna range and the deepest gorge of the world make the entire trip unforgettable. The best season commences September to December and March to May.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Tribhuwan International Airport is the only one international airport of Nepal where you will be welcomed by our airport representative with great hospitality at the arrival lounge and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Preparation for trek
You can explore around the city and prepare for the trek.
Day 03: Drive to Beni and overnight
We will go to Beni by bus which may take around 13-14 hours. On the way you can see Pokhara valley along with Mt. fishtail, Annapurna 2nd, Gangapurna and Mardi Himal. The way goes through Prithavi high way and passes along Pokhara and Nayapul. By the evening, we will get to Beni and stay overnight at Beni.
Day 04: Drive to Dharapani 3-4 hours
On the next day we will go to Dharapani by bus or Jeep which may take about 3-4 hours and stay a night there.
Day 05: Dharapani to Muri gaon 6-7 hour
The way starts with small uphill and flat with the views of Mt. Dhaulagiri 4th and green countryside of Magar village. It takes about 6-7 hours and we spend a night there.
Day 06: Muri gaon to Bagar 6-7 hours
Muri is a huge village of Magar.From here the trail descends and crosses a small stream then continues to Bagar with little up and down through rocky trail. At the end of the day, we will reach Bagar where we spend overnight. It takes approximately 6-7 hours.
Day 07: Bagar to Dovan 6-7 hours
Bagar is the last magar village of this trek from where the trail starts uphill through dense forest of Himalayan bamboo. The way goes along the riverside and finally arrives at Dovan. It takes about 6-7 hours and spend a night there at tented camp
Day 08: Dovan to Sallagari 6-7 hours
Dovan is located in the middle of dense forest. From here, the way goes through dense forest of Rhododendrons and pine trees with uphill. You can see Langur along with different sorts of flora and fauna. It takes at least 6-7 hours and we spend a night there at tented camp.
Day 09: Sallagari to Italy Base Camp 4-5 hours
Sallagari is located in the middle of pine forest. The ways gently ascends from here through jungle with slight uphill and flat. We go higher day by day. After 4-5 hours of long walk, we will get to Italy base camp where we stay at tented camp.
Day 10: Rest day for acclimatization
You have whole day free and during the leisure time, you can hike up to the hill for acclimatization. After that we will return back to the camp and relax.
Day 11: Italy base camp to Japanese camp 4-5 hours
Italy camp is a beautiful place from where we start our journey early in the morning. The way gently ascends first then descends, crosses Dhaulagiri ice stream and climbs up again till Japanese camp. After crossing the small stream, the way is uphill and difficult, sometime rock may fall during the day melting ice. Therefore, to start the trip earlier is better and safer. It takes about 4-5 hours.
Day 12: Japanese Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp 6-7 hours
After having spent a wonderful night at Japanese base camp, we trek to Dhaulagiri base camp. The trail goes through glacier with the beautiful scenery of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Tukuche peak. At last we will arrive at Dhaulagiri base camp.
Day 13: Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Hidden Valley 6-7 hours
Today, we have to cross the highest pass of this trek called French pass 5200m then trek to hidden valley. The entire way is uphill till French pass then descends down to hidden valley. It takes about 6-7 hours.
Day 14: Summit to Dhampus Peak and trek to Yak Kharka 7-8 hours
Hidden valley is a huge lawn yak pasture. The trail slowly climbs up at the beginning then flat and down till Yak kharka.Today, we have two options. If you want to summit Dhampus peak, you have to go early in the morning to summit Dhampus peak then return back to Yak kharka. If you don’t want to climb it, you can go directly to Yak kharka from Hidden valley. It takes about 7-8 hours.
Day 15: Yak Kharka to Marpha 3-4 hours
Yak Kharka is located above Marpha. From here, the trail constantly descends to Marpha which takes about 3 hours. Marpha is a beautiful Thakali village. It is famous for apple growing where you can visit monastery and explore the typical Thakali culture. We spend a night there.
Day 16: Marpha to Jomsom 2-3 hours
We continue our journey to Jomsom after breakfast. From here, the way goes along the Kaligandaki River with the views of Mt.Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Tukuche peak. Jomsom is headquarter of Mustang where all the bank, government office and airport are located. It takes about 2-3 hours. We stay a night at Jomsom.
Day 17: Fly back to Pokhara 25 minutes
From Jomsom, we fly back to Pokhara early in the morning with the scenic views of Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri range. It takes about 25 minutes. We explore at Pokhara around Lakeside. We spend a night there at hotel.
Day 18: Pokhara to Kathmandu 7/8 hours
From Pokhara, we return back to Kathmandu by tourist bus which departs at 7.30 am. It takes about 7/8 hours.
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu
You have whole day free and during your leisure period, you can do shopping and explore around city.
Day 20: Final departure
Our company representative will come to the hotel and drop to the airport for your next destination.
