Type of Services:

In Nepal the trekking can be categorized into three types: Therefore we have three types of services for trekking on the basis of client's requirement and request. You can choose any one among these three and the programme and price will be changed accordingly.

01: Fully Organized Camping Trek:

Camping trekking is that kind of trekking on which all the food are prepared and served to the clients in their own dinning tents and they have to spend their night an open area in the tent during the trek. This type of trekking are organized in those areas where Lodges are unavailable and difficult to accommodate during the trek. All the members have to sleep in the tents and breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by the cook and Kitchen staffs.  The essential things such as tents, foods, utensils, tables, chairs, stoves and kerosene are taken from Kathmandu. Hence, this type of trekking is a bit expensive instead of tea house trek because we have to take everything from Kathmandu. The price covers all permits, transportation, staffs salary and insurance along with your domestic flight tickets, transportation and accommodation in Kathmandu as well.

02: Full Package Lodge or Tea house Trek:

Teahouse or Lodge trek is a type of trek on which we will eat and sleep at lodge during the trek. The package covers all the foods (breakfast, lunch and dinner) accommodation, trekking permits, hotel in Kathmandu, arrival and departure, round transportation and domestic flight tickets along with staffs salaries, foods accommodation and their insurance.

03: Guide or porters with accommodation:

This type of trekking is based on lodge trek. The price includes only guide or porter, his foods, accommodation, insurance and your accommodation and trekking permits during the trek.
We are always flexible for the price and itinerary and please never hesitate to ask question if you have any queries. We are here just for to give quality of service.

Key notice for trekkers

Foods:

You can have the food on the basis of your order on the fixed priced menu on this trek. We will serve you three times meal a day during the trek. Breakfast and dinner with tea or coffee are served at the same hotel where we stay but the lunch we will take on the way to trek. The best authentic Nepalese food is Daal bhat (that comes with lintel, rice, pickle, meat or vegetable). You can consult with your guide for lunch, dinner and breakfast so that you will get the authentic and hygienic foods during the trek. Most of the clients have to eat food at the hotel where they stay according to the rules and regulation of the local. As you check in lodge, you have to give the order for dinner and fix the time because in the mountain the hotel kitchen is small where the innkeeper cooks everything over a single wood or kerosene stove with a limited supply of pots. So, it may take a bit longer.

Accommodation in Annapurna region:

Nepal is the only one country of the world where you have to adjust with the climate of Himalayan, hilly and Terai region. The climates and facilities of accommodation as well differs place to place and region to region. The Accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara will be in 3 star categories hotel. All accommodations are normal on a twine-shared basis. The room sharing partner will be arrange on the basis of your age and sex. All the accommodation will be in normal lodges and most of the rooms will be common shared bathroom on the trek. You will get room with attached only in few places during the trek. The United Brothers Trek and Expedition will book the best lodges during the trek as they can. You can get room with attached only in few places during the trek but the bathroom will be frozen due to cold in the higher places. If you want single room, please notify it before your arrival, and we will tell the extra price for that and book the hotel accordingly. You can get the single room in city like Kathmandu and Pokhara easily on the basis of your choice but in the mountain during the trek, sometimes the hotel owner does not want to give single room due to lack of rooms or overflow of trekkers. In such cases, you have to consider and sleep on twine sharing basis with your friends.
There are only limited lodges mainly at Annapurna Base Camp, Tilicho Base Camp, Mardi Himal Base Camp and Thorong Phedi the way to Annapurna circuit. In those places sometimes all the rooms will be fully booked due to over flow of tourist and in such case, we have to sleep in the dormitory room or dining hall with 10-15 persons.

Temperature in Annapurna region;

The weather and climate differs from place to place in Nepal. The best season for trekking starts from September to December and March to April. The best season for trekking in Nepal can be divided into autumn (fall) and spring. September to December season falls on Autumn Season. September and October are the best and peak season in Nepal. During these months the weather is warm and pleasant. The temperature during the day is 15 to 20 degree celcius but at night will be cold. As you go higher the weather will be colder. The sky will be clear and monsoon is over. Sometime it snows and that time the temperature goes to be below 0 degree during the night.November and December is also good season for trekking. These two months will be a bit colder. Temperature during the day is 15 to 20 degree celcius but at night the temperature goes to be below 0 to -10 degree celcius. Hence you need to bring good sleeping bag for Annapurna Base Camp and Annapurna circuit Trek. January and February is taken low season due to cold. During these period, the weather will be too cold at higher place and the way to Thorong pass, Tilicho Pass and Annapurna Base Camp will be blocked sometimes due to over snow. Most of the hotel at high pass will be closed due to cold. The temperature during the day will be like 5 to 10 degree celcius but at night goes to be -10 to -15 degree celcius.
Likewise March to May is the good season for trekking. The weather is warm and good for climbing as well. The sky will be clear and all the way will be dry but a bit dusty and windy. The hilly region covers by the beautiful flowers of Magnolia and rhododendron and seems colorful. The temperature is 20 to 25 degree Celsius during the day but will be cold below 0degree Celsius at night at the higher place.
June to August is rainy season and most of the areas are a bit difficult to travel due to landslide and rain. Most of the hills will be covered by clouds and all most all views cannot be during this season.

Drinking water:

Drinking water is the most important thing for the travel. During your trek, all the trekkers are requested not to drink the water directly from the tap. The tap water on the way is not pure to drink .You can buy mineral water on the way to drink but it may not get all the way because the ACAP has banned the plastic bottles to prevent environmental pollution. So, you can take personal water bottle from Kathmandu and fill the drinkable water in it from the available place or you can put in purification tablet before drinking. That is the best way to be safe from the disease which may cause from impure drinking water during the trek. Some of the trekkers use to drink water from the tap due to the lack well information. So, it's not good to drink water from the tap for your health.

Physical Strength and pre-experience:

Trekking means walking on foot to visit and observe panoramic beauty being close to Nature. You have to walk at least 5/6 hours per day. The trekkers must be physically and mentally fit enough. Everyday walking and jogging help you to achieve the target. If you have pre experience of trekking that helps a lot but nothing is impossible if you wish from your bottom of heart. Hence, clients are requested to do a lot of exercise for walking. You can walk or jogging every day before travelling that makes your muscle strong and fit for the trek. Better to do short trekking before joining longer trek like Passes above 5000m.

High Altitude Sickness:

High Altitude Sickness (HAS) or Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is one the main problems during the trekking and any one (Mountain climbers, hikers, skiers or travelers) can be victims of AMS apart from their Physical Strength. It is the most dangerous things which has no any specific medicine and one needs to be cautious from the initial period. It starts normally above 2400m and the main causes are walking faster, less drinking water, lack of acclimatization, addiction of alcohol and cigarettes and lower level of oxygen and air pressure. The prime symptoms of AMS are dizziness, headache, vomiting, nausea, insomnia and anorexia. The best way to prevent it is to drink plenty of water, and enough acclimatization at above 2400 m. Our tour leader and staffs will have sufficient first aid medicine and kit but in case of creasing situation of AMS one might need to cancel the trip and descend down. If the situation of the patient is getting worse, clients will be airlifted immediately for further treatment in hospital at Kathmandu.

We have listed most of the important equipment list here but it may differ a little bit according to the season, area of trip and the duration of trek.
