Nepal a small Himalayan kingdom of the Asia where you can find the real heavenly beauty of the world. It is popularly known as the country of sacred Mountains along with country with unity in diversity. It is recognized as the home of World's crown. Nepal has become one of the best destination for the travelers due to its natural beauty, diversity in culture, hospitality of Nepalese people where you can get numerous alternatives for trek and tour regarding your time. In Nepal there are so many places and things to observe and visit. It is the country of Lord Buddha who is popularly known as the light of Asia. Among the 14 highest mountains in the world, 8 are located in Nepal. They are Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Cho-Oyu, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna 1 and Manaslu. Nepal is not only a beautiful country but also rich in religion and cultural heritages because some of the Nepalese cultural heritages are listed in the world heritage site due to its representation of ancient Nepalese culture.

Nepal a small landlocked and developing country of south Asia is situated between India and China. The total area of Nepal is 147181square km. The current tentative population of Nepal is about 30 million. It is divided into three different geographical landscape such as Terai, Hilly and Himalayan region. On the other hand, it is divided into seven provinces in Political division.

Terai Region:

The low and plain land of Nepal is called Terai region. It is the main fertile land of Nepal which has occupied 15% of total land of Nepal. Most of the people depend on agro-best occupation. The climate in the Terail region in summer becomes very hot and the maximum temperature gets nearly 50. But in winter the minimum temperature goes to be 5 Sometime sun light can't be seen for a week and due to the cold weather the daily life of people becomes a bit difficult in winter season. People with different casts and culture use to live in Terai region, mainly they are Chaudhari, Tharu and Rajbanshi. Most of them follow Hindu religion. The typical Tharu culture is the prime attraction for tourist which can be observed in Chitwan. Tharu stick dance is very popular for tourist in Chitwan.

Hilly Region:

The land between Terai and Himalayan region is called Hilly region. It has occupied 68% of total land of Nepal. Most of the popular cities of Nepal such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dhankuta and Dharan are situated in hilly region. The altitude of hilly region is ranged from 1500m to 2700m from sea level. The climate in hilly region is considered to be mild. The weather doesn't differ much between summer and winter. The tropical evergreen forest can be observed in the hilly region. The population in the hilly region is a bit higher than in the Terai and Himalayan region due to its pleasant weather and well development of infrastructure. The major caste of people in hilly region are Newar, Chhetri, Brahamins, Rai, Limbu, Gurung, Sherpa, and Tamang. Most of the people of hilly region are involved in the field of business. The major religion is Hindu, Buddhist and Christian. The maximum number of people are native speakers. Hence, Nepali language is highly spoken in the hilly region.

Himalayan Region:

The land above 3000m from sea level is considered as the Himalayan region. The Himalayan region has occupied 17% of total area of Nepal. The climate of Himalayan region is very cold both in summer and winter. The minimum temperature reaches -10 in winter season. The major occupation of the people is Tourism. They depend on tourism to survive their life. Due to its chilly weather agriculture is not possible in this region. People only can grow potatoes, maize, wheat and buckwheat. The main inhabitant of hilly region is Sherpa who are very famous in the world in the tourism sector. They are Buddhist and use their own language for communication. Every year thousands of tourists come to visit the Himalayan region to observe the sacred mountains.
