Nagarkot is the popular destination for stunning Mountain View along with sunrise and sunset. It is located near Kathmandu valley where many good lodges are available for accommodation. Nagarkot is situated on the top of the hill from where you can see the magnificient views of entire Langtang range, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. It is a day’s hiking which starts from the famous Changunarayan Temple.
Changunarayan Temple is pretty close from Bhaktapur which was built during the period of King Mandev. It takes around 45 minutes by car from Kathmandu and on the way to it; you can visit the old Bhaktapur Durbar Square as well. We have to walk on foot from Changunarayan Temple and takes about 5 hours. The trail goes through small Tamang villages and green forest with the superb view of Kathmandu valley and green countryside. This trekking is suitable for everyone from children to adult and can be done at any time and season. It is suitable for those people who don’t have sufficient time but want to see the picturesque snow-capped mountain views during their short visit to Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport is the only one international airport of Nepal from where you will be welcomed with a great hospitality by the representative of United Brothers Trek and Expedition and transferred to the hotel. After having checked in the hotel, we will give you a short briefing about the trip and collect the essential documents (Passport and Photos) from you to issue the trekking permits. You can rest the leisure time exploring around and stay a night at the hotel with breakfast.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu

You can get up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take for full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (the world heritage site). At first, we will drive you to Swayambunath Temple. Swayambunath means self-originated Buddhist Temple which is known as Monkey Temple as well. It is located on the top of the hill from where you can see the superb view of the whole Kathmandu Valley. After having visited this holy temple, we will drive you to Boudha Stupa. It is a holy place for Buddhist and pilgrims which was slightly damaged during due the tremor of 2015 but later rebuilt. It is one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. From here, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple that is pretty close from Boudhanth. Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of the Bagmati River is one of the biggest and most popular Shrines where you can behold for Hindus. Pashupatinath Temple which is the biggest Hindu Temple. You can see the ritual and cremation activities according to the Hindus Culture. At the end of the day, we will return back to the hotel. By the evening, we will take you to a Nepali restaurant for welcome dinner with typical Nepali cultural dance. At last, we will drop you to the hotel and spend a night with breakfast.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Changunarayan drop and trek to Nagarkot (1,932m) 4/5 hours

Today, we drive you to Changunarayan Temple after breakfast. Changunarayan temple is one of the oldest temples of Kathmandu valley. From here, we have to walk on foot directly to Tilkot where we stop for lunch and then carry on our journey to Nagarkot which takes around 5 hours on foot from Changunarayan Temple. Nagarkot is the famous and beautiful place from where you can behold the dramatic views of Langtang range, sunrise and sunset. Here we can get many good hotel for accommodation. We spend a night over there.

Day 04: Nagarkot to Kathmandu (1,350m)

After having spent a night at Nagarkot, we drive you back to Bhaktapur where we will visit old Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur is the oldest city of Kathmandu valley. It has its own value due to the old Bhaktapur Durbar Square and typical Newari house with old temples. It is one of the world popular heritage sites of Nepal. After that, we drive you back to Kathmandu and spend a night at hotel.

Day 05: Final Departure

We will come to the hotel to pick you up and drop to the airport before 3 hours of your flight time.
