Manakamana is the popular destination for both Hindus and Buddhist. It is located to the west of Kathmandu Valley on the elevation of 1300m from sea level. The combination of two words Mana means (heart) and Kamana means (wish) temple is a highly respected holy place of Hindu Goddess Bhagwati an incarnation of Parvati. It is believed that the Goddess Bhagwati rewards those who visit the pilgrimage to her shrine by granting their wishes. This temple is 105km far from Kathmandu which takes around 4 hours by bus or private car. There was no any facilities of transportation to visit this temple a few years before but nowadays all the pilgrims can go by a cable car ride about 10-20 minute from Prithavi High way. It is situated on the top of the hill which offers the breathtaking views of Manaslu, Himchuli and Aannapurna Mountain to the north. A large numbers of pilgrims throughout the country draw during two popular festival mainly in Dashain (Sep-October) and Nag Panchami (July- August) to make one's wishes complete.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport is the only one international airport of Nepal from where you will be welcomed with a great hospitality by the representative of United Brothers Trek and Expedition and transferred to the hotel. After having checked in the hotel, we will give you a short briefing about the trip. You can rest the leisure time exploring around and stay a night at the hotel with breakfast.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
You can get up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take for full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (the world heritage site). At first, we will drive you to Swayambunath Temple. Swayambunath means self-originated Buddhist Temple which is known as Monkey Temple as well. It is located on the top of the hill from where you can see the superb view of the whole Kathmandu Valley. After having visited this holy temple, we will drive you to Boudha Stupa. It is a holy place for Buddhist and pilgrims which was slightly damaged during due the tremor of 2015 but later rebuilt. It is one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. From here, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple that is pretty close from Boudhanth. Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of the Bagmati River is one of the biggest and most popular Shrines where you can behold for Hindus. Pashupatinath Temple which is the biggest Hindu Temple. You can see the ritual and cremation activities according to the Hindus Culture. At the end of the day, we will return back to the hotel. By the evening, we will take you to a Nepali restaurant for welcome dinner with typical Nepali cultural dance. At last, we will drop you to the hotel and spend a night with breakfast.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Chitwan drive (Manakamana Temple visit on the way)
Today, we commence the trip after breakfast from Kathmandu. We drive you by private car or Jeep to Chitwan which takes around 5/6 hours. On the way, we visit Manakamana Temple and then continue to Chitwan. Chitwan the famous National Park for tour is also popular for the production of mustard and mustard oil. It is the third biggest attraction of Nepal after trekking and Kathmandu valley. Royal Chitwan National Park is also listed in UNESCO's World Heritage Site where you can see 50 different species of animals like tigers, leopards, sloth bears etc. and 450 different species of birds, one horned rhinoceros, Asian elephants, Gangetic dolphins, and crocodiles, Marsh Muggers, Gharials, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer and many more animals. We arrive at Chitrasari where we will be received by a hotel representative. After that you will be taken to resort where you will be provided refreshment. The hotel guide will give you short briefing about the programme. After that we will visit the National Park Visitor's center where we will get to know more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife. At the same time, you will visit the Tharu village very nearby where you will get to be familiar with the lifestyles of the Tharu community. By the evening, you will be served with delicious dinner.
Day 04: In Chitwan
On the next day, after having breakfast, we will go for canoe ride along the Rapti river where you will have a good chance for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial then they would take you to real nature walk with different types of vegetation to get along with different types of flora and fauna. Meanwhile we will visit the Elephant breeding centre as well. After that we will return back to the hotel and hove lunch. Having finished lunch, we will take you for Elephant bathing where you can relax with sip of drinks. By late afternoon, we will go for Elephant safari for 1 hour which is an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You may also encounter with many small mammals of Chitwan. By the evening, we will go to see the special Tharu stick cultural dance program and return back to the hotel. At the end of the programme, you will be provided a dinner.
Day 05: Chitwan to Kathmandu
This is our final day at Chitwan. You will be given a wakeup call with tea or coffee as per your choice served with breakfast and in the leisure time you can have bird watching for some moments until the time for the bus to Kathmandu. At the end of the day you will get to Kathmandu.
Day 06: Final departure
You have to reach to the airport 3 hours before of your flight time. So, we will come to the hotel to pick you up and drop to the airport for final departure.
