Tilicho Pass Trek

Tilicho Lake, the most beautiful and highest Lake of the world is located on the elevation of (5,000m) from sea level. The symbol of holy water formed on the lap of Tilicho Himal has been gaining the popularity throughout Nepal due to its natural beauty. This Lake is situated on the top of the hill from where the picturesque scenery of Mt. Tilicho, Gangapurna, Chulu peak, Pisang peak, Annapuran 2nd and the tranquil heavenly place of Annapuran region can be observed.This trek commences from Besishahar through the same trail of Annapurna circuit trek but departs it from Manang. You can do the trekking till Tilicho Base Camp as a lodge trek but after that we have to do camping trek till Jomsom. We can’t get any good lodges after Manang only few small lodges are available till Tilicho base camp. That is why you have to do camping trek for few days after Manang. You have two options for this trek. Firstly, you can stop your trek at Jomsom and have to fly to Pokhara. Secondly, you can continue your journey along Tatopani and Ghorepani and ends at Nayapul. Then drive to Pokhara. For Acclimatization purposes and more time to relax you better to add one or two days in the region between Manang and Tilicho base camp.
This trekking is pretty hard and not comparable with Annapurna circuit trekking. Crossing Mesokantu pass is very difficult and potentially dangerous and sometime rocks may fall. So, be well prepared and make sure you hire good and experienced staff (guide, cook and porters) through a reliable trekking company.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Kathmandu to Besisahar (7,60m) 6/7 hours
Day 04: Drive to Chame (2,670m) by Jeep 5/6 hours
Day 05: Chame to Pisang (3,200m) 5/6 hours
Day 06: Pisang to Manang (3,540m) 6/7 hours
Day 07: Rest day at Manang for acclimatization
Day 08: Manang to Khangsar Village (3,700m) 4/5 hours
Day 09: Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (3,734m) 6/7 hours
Day 10: Rest day for acclimatization
Day 11: Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake (4,919m) 4 hours
Day 12: Tilicho Lake to Nam Phu Kharka after crossing Mesokanta La pass (5,315m) 6/7 hours
Day 13: Namphu Kharka to Jomsom (2,720m) 4/5 hours
Day 14: Jomsom to Pokhara Morning flight 30 minutes
Day 15: Pokhara to Kathmandu flight

Day 16: Final departure
