Terila pass represents one of the adventurous Mountains journeys which commences from Besishahar along with the panoramic views of natural water falls, rice terraces, unique culture of the ethnic groups of Nepal and the giant Annapurna ranges, untouched Narphu village and the mysterious caves of Mustang (The abode of our ancestors) This trek is one of the best treks of Nepal which lies on the very close border of Nepal and Tibet. It starts from Besisahar and ends at Jomsom or Nayapul. This route departs from Koto of Manang and it is completely camping based trek. You can see the unique culture of Tibetan, their lifestyle, old Buddhist monasteries and different sorts of flora and fauna. Most of the residents of this region are Tibetan but they have written Gurung in their citizenship. We can visit Narphu village along with upper mustang and lower mustang as well. It is completely restricted area from Koto to Kagbeni or Muktinath and all the trekkers need to take special permits for that. This is an adventurous trek and all the trekker must be physically and mentally fit enough for that. The best season for this trek is August to December and March to May.
