Mera Peak (6,461m is one of the most popular peaks in Nepal which is an exciting trekking peak and scenically beautiful peak of Makalu Barun National Park. It seems near and easy to climb but never gets on the top due to long ascending. The splendid scenery of Mt.Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse and Chamlang from the summit is incredible! You don't need any technical skill to climb this peak and little knowledge about climbing on the ice with crampon is enough. Our climbing guide will brief and give training about it before heading to the summit. If anyone wants to scale a peak above 6000m, this peak is perfect and suitable for them. The itinerary has been carefully designed to allow gradual acclimatization for the climbers. Different sorts of flora and fauna, holy lakes, mountains and old Buddhist monasteries can be observed on this trek. The best season is September to November and March to May.
