Langtang is a well-known destination of Nepal for trekking. It is a narrow valley that lies just south of the Tibet-border. It is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. A trek to the Langtang Valley offers an opportunity to explore the lifestyle of ethnic groups of Nepal, different sorts of flora &fauna, climb small peaks and visit Buddhist monasteries. Langtang Gosainkunda Lake trek is one of the most popular treks of Nepal which starts from Syabrubesiand ends at Dhunche, Likewise, Gosainkunda, the famous and holy lake is located on the elevation of 4,470m in Rasuwa district. It is a prime pilgrimage both for Buddhist and Hindus that can be visited on the way to Helembu trek from Dhunche. Different sorts of flora and fauna, breathtaking views of giant mountains, unique culture of Tamang and the beauty and stillness of nature can be observed. According to the mythology, the lake is believed to have been created by Lord Shiva when he thrust his Trishul (holy Trident) into a mountain to extract water so that he could cool his stinging throat after he had swallowed poison. There are 4 lakes namely, SaraswatiKunda, BhairaveKunda, Gosainkunda and Surya kunda. The best season for this trek is August to December and March to June.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m) 4/5 hours
Day 05: Trek to Mundum (3,530m) 5/6 hours
Day 06: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3,870m) 3/4 hours
Day 07: Rest day and explore around Kyanjing
Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m) 4/5 hours
Day 09: Trek to Thulo Syabru(2,600m) 4/5 hours
Day 10: Trek to Lauribina (3,910m) 5/6 hours
Day 11: Trek to Gosainkunda (4,470m) 4/6 hours
Day 12: Trek to Sing Gompa (3,250) 4/5 hours

Details itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
On the first day of your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed at the airport by our airport representative and then transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Preparation for trek
You can do explore around the city and prepare for the trek. By the evening, there will be a welcome dinner organized by United Brothers Trek and Expedition.
Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,420m) 7/8 hours
We go to Syabrubesi by local bus or private Jeep early in the morning and it goes through Trisuli and Dhunche village. It takes approximately 7/8 hours. We stay overnight at Syabrubesi.
Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m) 4/5 hours
The trail crosses the river and then continues along the Langtang river through the green forest to bamboo village (1850m). We take a short break for lunch here and continue our journey to Lama Hotel. It takes about 5 hours to reach there.
Day 05: Trek to
Mundum (3,530m) 5/6 hours
From here, the way passes through dense rhododendron and pine forests and gets Ghore Tabala where we take Lunch. After Lunch we continue our trip to Mundum and on the way, the picturesque views of Langtang Li rung and Langtang village can be observed. It takes approximately 5/6 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3,870m) 3/4 hours
Mundum is a small, beautiful village located near Langtang village. From here, we follow the trail through the nice lawn of yak pasture and continue to Kyanjing gompa about four hours. Kyanjing gompa is a small and beautiful village where we can visit a very old monastery. We stay overnight at Kyanjing village.
Day 07: At Kyanjing Gompa
After breakfast, we hike up to Kyanjing Ri for better view. It is the best spot from where you can see the entire Kyanjing village, Langtang, Li rung, Langsisa, Bhairab Takura, Dorje Lhakpa and Yala. After the summit, we will return back to Kyanjing village and explore around it.
Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470m) 4/5 hours
We return back to Lama Hotel through the same way.
Day 09: Trek to Thulo syabru (2,600m) 4/5 hours
The trail slowly descends about 2 hours,then ascends to Thulo syabru.On the way, we have to cross a River called Ghopche Khola and it takes about 4/5 hours.
Day 10: Trek to Lauribina (3,910m) 5/6 hours
The journey starts with the beautiful scenery of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung and Syabru village. Today, the entire way is slightly uphill till Lauribina. We have to go through tiny village and Cholang pati then finally gets to Lauribina. We spend overnight there.
Day 11: Trek to Gosaikunda (4,300m) 4/6 hours
Lauribina is one of the best spots of this trek for the Sunset and mountain's view. From here, the way gently climbs up about 1 hour till Deurali (Lauribina pass). You can see the nice view of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Ganesh himal, Buddha himal, Fishtail, Manaslu and some parts of Tibet Mountain range on the way to Deurali. From Deurali, the way is little uphill and then easy way till Gosaikunda. You can see Saraswati Kunda at the beginning, then Bhairab kunda and Gosaikunda Lake. The third lake is called Gosaikunda Lake. Due to the most popular holy lake, thousands of people come to worship it every year. There are few lodges for accommodation. We spend a night there.
Day 12: Trek to Sing Gompa (3,250) 4/5 hours
After having spent a wonderful night in Gosaikunda, the way descends to Sing Gompa through Lauribinayak and Cholangpati with the dramatic views of mountain and green countryside. We stay overnight there at normal lodge.
Day 13: Trek to Dhunche (2,030m) 3/4 hours
The entire trail is downhill today. We walk down slowly after breakfast and it takes about 3/4 hours. We spend a night there.
Day 14: Drive to Kathmandu 6/7 hours

We catch a local bus or private jeep and drive back to Kathmanud and it takes maximum 6 hours.
Day 15: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Today, we’ll go for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu mainly, Swoyambunath Temple, Boudhanath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square.By the evening there will be a farewell dinner organized by United Brothers Trek and Expedition.
Day 16: Final departure
We’ll drop you to the airport for final departure.
