Khopra Panoramic Trek

Khopra Panoramic trek offers great views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South. Hiunchuli, Annaapurna 1, Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Fewa Lake, sunrise, sunset and the green countryside. It is located on the lap of Mt. Annapurna South which starts from Pokhara Phedi or Nayapul and ends at Nayapul or Tatopani. MuldeDanda is the prime central point for panoramic scenery of holy mountains where you can visit a holy lake called Khayar Lake as well. It is existence not only for beautiful scenery but also for its own religious value. The giant snow-capped mountains, beautiful Ghandruk village, unique culture of ethnic groups, Pokhara city and various kinds of flora and fauna can be observed on this trek. This trek is suitable for those who are physically fit and can walk around 5/6 hour per day. The best season is from February to May and September to December. Both camping and teahouse trekking can be done for this trek.

Details itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
On the first day of your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed at the airport by our airport representative and then transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing and preparation for trek
Today, we’ll go for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu mainly, Swoyambunath temple, Boudhanath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. By the evening, we will have welcome dinner with special Nepalese cultural dance.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) by tourist bus 6/7 hours
On the next day, early in the morning, we will go to Pokhara by tourist bus or private jeep which takes approximately 6/7 hours. Pokhara is 200km far from Kathmandu. It is a beautiful city. It has its own value due to the tremendous view of Mt. Fishtail, Gangapurna, Annapurna iii, Lamjunghimal, Stupa view and Fewa Lake. You can visit, Devis Fall, Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Barahi Temple, World Peace Stupa and Sarangkot. Wold Peace Stupa and Sarangkot are the best viewpoint of Pokhara from where you can see the picturesque view of entire Pokhara Valley along with Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna South, Annapurna iii and Lamjung Himal.
Day 04: Drive to Kimche (1,550) and trek to Ghandruk (1,940) 4/5 hours
Today we go to Nayapul which takes about 2 hours. On the way to Kimche you can see the wonderful Fish Tail, Annapurna South, and Annapuna II along with other mountains and the whole Pokhara valley.After that we continue our journey to Ghandruk through nice stone paved route and tiny village to Ghandruk. It is a beautiful Gurung village where you can visit old and new Gurung museum which shows the real culture of Gurung Community. You can see the picturesque view of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Gangapurna and fishtail. We stay a night there at lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Tadapnai (2,630m) 4/5 hours
After having spent a wonderful night at Ghandruk village, we climb up slowly with the picturesque views of Mt. Fishtail, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli and Annapurna south. The way goes through green dense forest and arrives at BhaisiKharka (Buffalo pasture). Here, we take lunch and then continue to Tadapani through the dense forest of rhododendron and sometimes you will see white monkey hanging on the tree. It takes 4/5 hours and we spend a night there at normal lodge.
Day 06: Trek to BayeliKharka (3,426m) 5/6 hours
Tadapani is small beautiful village situated in the middle of the dense forest of rhododendron. From here, we continue our jouney to BayeliKharka through green dense forest and get to Meshar after 2 hours of walking. We carry on the journey to BayeliKharka which takes altogether 5/6 hours and spend a night there. BayeliKharka is a small village which is famous due to its popular viewpoint called Mulde viewpoint from where you can see all the superb views of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Fewa Lake along with green countryside. You can see the Sunset and Sunrise as well. We spend a night over there.
Day 07: Trek to Chistibung (2,975m) 5/6 hours
Today, we will get up early in the morning and head to Mulde viewpoint to see Sunrise and then come back to the camp. After breakfast, we trek to Chistibung which takes about 5/6 hours.We spend a night there.
Day 08: Trek to Khopra (3,660m) 4/5 hours
The entire way is uphill and high today. So, it will be better walking slowly which may help to reduce the chances of high-altitude sickness. Khopra is a beautiful spot from where you can see the breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, Annapurna south along with sunrise and sunset. You can visit Khayar Lake as well. It is a holy lake which has its own religious value among Nepalese. It takes approximately 4/5 hours. We spend a night there.
Day 09: Trek to Swanta village (2,200m) 5/6 hours
Today, we descend down to Swanta village with the picturesque views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range.It takes 5/6 hours.
Day 10: Trek to Shika (2,600m) 4/5 hours
The way descends down to Chitre and Shikha village. It is a nice and big village where many lodges are available for accommodation. We spend a night there at lodge.
Day 11: Trek to Tatopani (1,160m) 3/4 hours
Shikha is a nice Magar village from here the route is downhill till Tatopani. Tatopani means hot water in Nepali language. There is a natural hot spring, and it has its own value. It will help to remove all the skin disease if you take a bath in the hot spring. It is located at the bank of Kaligandaki River where many nice lodges are available for accommodation. We spend overnight at lodge.
Day 12: Drive to Pokhara by Jeep 4/5 hours
We will return back to Pokhara by local or private jeep which takes 4/5 hours and spend a night there.
Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus 7/8 hours
We will go to Kathmandu early in the morning by tourist bus or private jeep/car. It takes approximately 7/8 hours.
Day 14: In Kathmandu
You can rest and relax throughout the day at hotel. By the evening there will be a farewell dinner arranged by our company for you.
Day 15: Final Departure
We will drop you to the airport and wish you a nice and safe journey back home.
