Kang Tshorten -Dudhkunda trek

Kang Tshorten Sherpa Cultural Trek is recently opened new trekking trail. It is entirely untouched trail by trekkers. The trek starts from Jiri and ends at Phaplu. It offers awesome views of Numbur Himal and different types of flora and fauna along with a very distinctive Sherpa culture and old Buddhist monasteries.
The main destination of this trek is Khawai Tshorten which means a temple situated under the snow. It is located on the lap of Mt. Numbur Himal which has its own religious value. It is under the black cave. Every year, at the end of August mainly on the full moon day, most of the local people come to visit this famous and holy Buddhist temple. Everyone keeps fully faith on this holy temple and if one visits once in his /her life one's wishes and dreams makes true due to the blessing of god. It is self-originated natural temple located at the highest point. This trek is medium trek and everybody can do it. The best season for this trek is August to December and February to May.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive to Deurali by jeep 10/12 hours
Day 04: Trek to Techhim 4/5 hours
Day 05: Trek to Kyama 3/4 hours
Day 06: Trek to Lha Chhor 5/6 hours
Day 07: Rest day
Day 08: Trek to Ngeji 5/6 hours
Day 09: Hike to Kang Tshorten and back to Ngeji 6/7 hours
Day 10: Trek to Parkharkeng 4/5 hour ( Near Kala)
Day 11: Trek to Dudhkunda ( Kala Pass) 5/6 hours
Day 12: Trek to Shasar beni
Day 13: Trek to Taksindo
Day 14: Trek to Phaplu
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 16: Rest and Shopping
Day 17: Final departure
