Everest three passes trek is one of the most challenging trekking routes in Khumbu region which takes around 21 days to complete it. It covers the main places of this region so that it is called Everest circuit trek as well. These three passes are the highest and difficult trekking routes of Everest region which is suitable only those trekkers who have sufficient time, physically and mentally enough fit and could walk around 6/7 hours per day.
This trail includes three passes like Kongma La (5,535m/18159 ft), Chola pass (5,380m/17650 ft) and Renjo La (5,388m/17513ft) along with Kalapathar(black rock) (5545m) and Gokyo Ri (5,357m/17,570 ft).You can see the magnificent scenery of giant snow-capped mountains of entire Everest region. Likewise, old Buddhist monasteries, lakes and different types of flora and fauna as well can be observed on this trek. Gokyo Ri is one of the best destinations of this trek from where you can see the splendid view of 4 mountains above (8,000m) like, Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu and other numerous small peaks below (8,000m).
We can design the itinerary on the basis of client’s choice also. Hiking to Kalaphathar offers dramatic views of Mt. Pumari, Mt. Everest, and Nuptse along with Khumbu ice fall. The great hospitality and friendly behaviors of Sherpa people, old Buddhist monasteries, colorful praying flags, and unique Sherpa culture make your trip more interesting and unforgettable. It starts from Lukla and ends at the same destination. The best season is September to November and March to May.
