Mera Amphu Lapcha Pass trek is one of the most challenging treks of Everest region which starts from Lukla or Tumlingtar and ends at Lukla. This trek is suitable only for those people who are physically and mentally fit, sufficient time for the adventurous trek and wants to do a small peak climbing along with the adventurous trek in their life for new experience. Mera peak (6461m) is located in the eastern part of Nepal behind Mt. Amadablam and on the head of Hungu Valley at Makalu Barun National Park. Mera Peak is divided into three parts South Mera Peak 6064m, Central Mera Peak 6461m and North Mera Peak 6476m. We climb only the Central Mera and nobody climbs the South and North Mera Peak due to its technical route.

The main attraction of this trek is the tremendous view of Snow-capped Mountains, Hungu Valley, natural lakes and green countryside. You can see the amazing views of the mighty mountains above (8000m) Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyo, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and other hundreds of small peaks below (8000m) with the entire stunning scenery of Khumbu range. The next adventurous high pass is called Amphu Lapcha Pass which needs an experienced and trained climbing Sherpa to fix the rope. The best season for this trek is 1st Sept to end of November and 1st March to end of May.
