Setting foot in Everest base camp (5,364m) and observe the magnificent scenery is every trekker’s dream. The combination of Sherpa culture and old Buddhist monasteries, stunning views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Pumori, Amadablam, gigantic Khumbu glacier and several peaks lure and stun the visitors. This trek is one of the most beautiful and famous trekking trails in Khumbu region which takes approximately 13 to 14 days. The journey for this trek sets out from Lukla after 35 minutes of flight to Lukla. Kalapathar (5,545m) is another popular destination of this trek which provides the most breathtaking views of Mt. Everest along with sunrise and sunset. The best season is March to May and Sept to November. However, we are flexible for the itinerary and can design it on the basis of client’s choice and request.

Details itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
On the first day of your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed at the airport by our airport representative and then transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing and preparation for trek
Today, we’ll go for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu mainly, Swoyambunath temple, Boudhanath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. By the evening, we will have welcome dinner with special Nepalese cultural dance.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,840m) and trek to Phakding (2,610m) 3/4 hours
Today, we fly to Lukla with superb mountain views and arrive at Lukla airport after 35 minutes. Lukla is the entrance of Everest trek. It is a beautiful Sherpa village where we meet our trekking crew and take short break for tea or coffee and then trek to Phakding. You can see the beautiful Sherpa village, their lifestyle and lovely views of Kusum Kangru. We take lunch on the way and continue to Phakding. We stay a night there at lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5/6 hours
Phakding is a small and beautiful Sherpa village from here we go along Dundhkoshi River to Manju and Jorsale. We stop at Jorsale for lunch and permit checking. After lunch we have to cross the River twice. The way is uphill approximately 3 hours till Namche from the Hillary Bridge (last suspension bridge). If the weather is crystal, you can see Mt. Everest and Lhotse, Tabuche and Thamserku peak today. It takes approximately 6/7 hours from Phakding. We spend a night there
Day 05: Acclimatization Day
Namche Bazaar is a beautiful town of Khumbu region. Today, you can visit Sherpa museum, Monastery and explore the city. The next option, you can go to Everest view point hotel to see the better mountain views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam and Khumjung village. After that you can descend down to Namche and rest.
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m) 5/6 hours
From Namche Bazaar, we head to Tengboche and the way is easy due to horizontal surface.Today, we commence the journey through Kyangjuma, Sannasa and Pungi Tanga village with the superb view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam, Thamserku and Konde peak. We take lunch at Pungi Tanga and then ascend approximately 2 hours to Tengboche.We spend a night there.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) 5/6 hours
You can visit Tyangboche Monastery as you get here. From here we descend down to Diuche through dense forest of pine and rhododendron forest and then cross the river. The way passes through Pangboche and Samare village to Dingboche with little uphill. Today, the most beautiful Mt. Ama Dablam appears clearly in front of you to take your breath away. It takes 5/6 hours. We spend 2 nights at Dingboche.
Day 08: Rest Day for Acclimatization
Today, you can do a day hiking to the hill (5,000m) above Dingboche. On the way, you can see the breathtaking views of Mt. Makalu, Ama Dablam, Tabuche and Lobuche peaks. After the hiking, you can descend down through the same way and chill out at the hotel.
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m) 4/5 hours
The way is slightly uphill and continues to Thukla through ridge of Pheriche and yak pasture. We take lunch at Thukla and then ascend today’s last uphill approximately 2 hours. We can some memorial monuments built in the memory of climbers who lost their life in Everest during the expedition period on the ridge. From here, the path continues to Lobuche through horizontal surface. We stay 1 night there.
Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep (5,140m) 4/5 hours
Lobuche is a small village and from here we continue head to Gorekshep which takes tentatively 4 hours. Today, we can see Nuptse, Lola, Lingtren and Pomori very near on the way to Gorekshep. If you are not tired, you can go to Everest Base Camp on the same day which takes approximately 4 hours for up and down. Otherwise, you can go to Kalapathar early in the morning to see the picturesque views of Mt. Everest along with sunrise and Khumbu icefall from very near.
Day 11: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m) and back to samare (3,910m) 7/8 hours
If the weather is clear, you can go to Kalapathar early in the morning which takes at least 3 hours. Kalapathar, is located on the lap of Mt. Pumori from where you can see the Mt. Everest, Nupse, Lhotse and the entire Khumbu glacier pretty close. You can take good picture from the top for lifetime memory and descend down to Gorekshep. After breakfast, we return back to Samare and stay overnight there.
Day 12: Trek to Khumjung (3,930m) 5/6 hours
We return back to Sannasa from the same way and then ascend up to Khumjung village for overnight stay.
Day 13: Trek to Monjo (2,830m) 6/7 hours
Khumjung is a beautiful Sherpa village. From here, we descend down to Namche Bazaar through syangboche (world’s highest airport) and then continue to Manjo and spend a night there.
Day 14: Trek to Lukla (2,840m) 4/5 hours
Monjo is a small village located at the bank of Dudhkoshi River. We return from the same way to Lukla and spend 1 night there.
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu (1,350m) 35 minutes
We fly back to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey.You can rest and relax throughout the day at hotel. By the evening there will be a farewell dinner arranged by our company for you. We stay Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Final Departure
We will drop you to the airport and wish you a nice and safe journey back home.
