Dudhkunda Trek

DudhKunda Lake, located on the lap of Mt. Numbur Himal is a famous pilgrimage. It is one of the shortest cultural and religious treks which commences from Phaplu and ends at the same destination. It has its own popularity due to its holy Lake. Here, Dudh means Milk and Kunda means Lake in Nepali language. Every year at the end of August mainly on the full moon day numbers of people come to visit this Lake. It is famous for both Buddhist and Hindu. If you visit this place once in your present life that means before dying, this holy Lake can fulfill all your wishes and dreams. On this trek, you can see the picturesque view of Mt. Numbur Himal, green Solu dale, old Buddhist monasteries and different sorts of flora and fauna.
The unique Sherpa culture and their charming face and friendly behavior make your trek more memorable and compels to come to visit Nepal again and again. The best season for this trek is from September to December and March to May. This trek is popular and suitable for those people who want to do short, religious trek along with the beautiful scenery of snow-capped mountains during their visit to Nepal. This is a medium hard trek and which is completely camping trek. We can make the programme on the basis of clients’ choice and request.

Day 06: Kamo to Sasarbeni (3,840m) 5/6 hours
Day 07: Sasarbeni to Dudhkunda (4,560m) 5/6 hours
Day 08: Rest day at Dudhkunda
Day 09: Dudhkunda to Taksindo (2,960) 5/6 hours
Day 10: Takshindo to Phaplu (2,469m) 4/5 hours
Day 11: Phaplu to Kathamandu by Jeep 11/12 hours
Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu
