Annapurna is another popular trekking destination in Nepal which is taken the home to several world-class treks. Annapurna means Goddess of the Harvest. It is an immense snow-capped mountain range which is located in north central Nepal that includes the world’s 10th highest peak Annapurna 1 (8091m).This trek offers incredibly diverse scenery with both high mountains and lowlands countryside along with the deepest Kaligandaki gorge of the world. In the trek, we will pass through deferent geographical and cultural diversities within an amazing range of flora and fauna throughout the trek. You can get lodges everywhere in the whole trek. The highest pass of the trek is Thorong La pass 5416m. You can visit many old Buddhist monasteries, the holy Muktinath shrine, natural hot spring at Tatopani, best view point Ghorepani poon hill along with stunning views of the entire Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, Sunrise and Sunset, the most beautiful Gurung village Ghandruk and popular tourist city Pokhara on this trek. It can be done within 17 days. The best season for this trek is Sept to December and March to May. It is suitable for those clients who want to pass above 5000m high during their trek along with the wonderful mountain views.

Details itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
On the first day of your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed at the airport by our airport representative and then transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing and preparation for trek
Today, we’ll go for full day sightseeing in Kathmandu mainly, Swayambunath Temple, Boudhanath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. By the evening, we will have welcome dinner with special Nepalese cultural dance.
Day 03: Drive to Besisahar (760m) 7/8 hours
We,ll go to Besisahar by private jeep which takes approximately 6/7 hours. Besisahar is 178 km far from Kathmandu. We’ll stay overnight at Besisahar.
Day 04: Drive to Chame (2,670m) 4/5 hours
Besisahar is a beautiful city. From, here we’ll go by Jeep to Chame which takes approximately 4/5 hours and spend one night at normal lodge.
 Day 05: Trek to Pisang (3,200m) 5/6 hours
The trail goes through small village and dense forest along the river and dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river and gets to Barthang. From here, the way goes through the jungle and crosses the river and then gently ascends through dense forest of juniper gets to Dhukurpokhari where we take short break for lunch. On the way you can see a lovely Buddhist temple with pray wheels, apples trees, Annapruna ii and Pisang peak. After lunch, we continue through small jungle and yak pasture with easy walk to Pisang.We stay a night at lower Pisang.
Day 06: Trek to Manang (3,540m) 6/7 hours
After having spent a night there, we head to Manang. There are two ways to go to Manang. The short one goes directly via Humde and the other longer trail goes through upper Pisang via Ghyaru (3,670m) and Ngawal (3,660m). The longer way is better for acclimatization and excellent Mountain View. The panoramic views of Annapurna ii, Pisang peak, and several others will definitely allure us. The high route rejoins the direct route at Mungji. From Munji we walk again through bare field and get to a small village called Baraga where you can see a very old Buddhist monastery. From here, we walk again 30 minutes and finally arrive at Manang where we spend a night.
Day 07: Rest day at Manang for acclimatization.
Manang is a beautiful village which is surrounded by white snow-capped mountains. Today, you can go to the Ganga Purna Lake for acclimatization from where you can see good view of Manang village along with Gangapurna, Chulu east, Chulu west, Pisang peak and Annapurna ii. After the short hiking, we descend down to Manang, take lunch and rest.
Day 08: Trek to Yak Kharka (4,018m) 4/5 hours
From here, the way is slightly uphill till Gunsa village. As usual, you can see the beautiful view of whole Annapurna range, Pisang peak and Manang valley. From Gunsa it takes again approximately 2 hours more. We stay overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 09: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,450m) 4/ 5 hours
After breakfast, we head to Thorong Phedi for Lunch camp. Today, the way is uphill at the beginning then horizontal till Phedi. You can see Chulu west peak very near on the way to phedi.Phedi is a small place where we can get few lodges for accommodation.
Day 10: Trek to Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and Muktinath (3,760) 7/ 8 hours
We have to cross Thorong La pass (5416m) and descend down to Muktinath. Hence, we’ll commence the journey early in the morning. Most of the trekkers start at 3 am in the morning because the weather suddenly changes by the noon and becomes windy. The way is uphill till Pass and then descends down to Muktinath directly. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhist. You can visit the holy Muktinath shrine. We stay a night there at lodge.
Day 11: Drive Tatopani (1,190m) 3/4 hours
Muktinath is a beautiful place.You can see the beautiful scenery of Mt.Dhaulagiri and Tukuche peak. From here, we catch a jeep or bus to Tatopani directly. The way goes through the deepest Kaligandaki gorge.Tatopani is a famous place due to its natural hot spring.It is believed that if you take a bath in the natural hot spring, it will help to remove the skin disease. We spend a night here at lodge.
Day 12: Trek to Shika (2,600m) 4/5 hours
After breakfast, we start our journey to Shikha. The route crosses the river and then ascends till Shikha village.On the way; you can observe the lifestyle of the countryside along with green rice terraces. It takes approximately 4/5 hours. We spend a night at Shikha village.
Day 13: Trek to Ghorepani (2,800m) 4/5 hours
On the next day, we’ll go to Ghorepani which takes about 4/5 hours. The way is slightly uphill till Ghorepani. You can see the splendid views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Annapurna south, Nilgiri along with flora and fauna. We can take a short break at Chitre village for tea or coffee and then continue to Ghorepani. We stay at normal lodge.
Day 14: Trek to Tadapani(2,630m) 5/6 hours
Ghorepani, a beautiful place located on the elevation of 2800m is famous for its own best viewpoint called Poonhill. If the weather is crystal, you can go to Poonhill to see superb views of sunrise, and the entire Annapurna range, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After that, we return back to the same lodge, take breakfast and trek to Tadapani. On the way to Tadapani, you can see again the same view that you have seen from Poonhill. From here, the way gently ascends through dense forest of rhododendrons. We can rest at Deurali to drink tea or coffee and then descend down to Banthanti .We take lunch at Banthanti and then continue to Tadapani. We stay overnight there.
Day 15: Trek to Ghandruk (1,950m) 3/4 hours
The route is downhill till Ghadnruk. We have to go through dense forest of Rhododendron and Bhaisi Kharka. Today, we go to Ghandruk for lunch camp. It is a beautiful Gurung village where you can visit Gurung museums and a Monastery. If the weather is clear, you can see the wonderful view of Fishtail, Annapurna south and Himchuli and Gangapurna. We spend a night there.
Day 16: Drive to Pokhara by Jeep 4/5 hours
We will return back to Pokhara by private jeep which takes 4/5 hours and spend a night there.
Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus 7/8 hours
We will go to Kathmandu early in the morning by tourist bus or private jeep/car. It takes approximately 7/8 hours.
Day 18: In Kathmandu
You can rest and relax throughout the day at hotel. By the evening there will be a farewell dinner arranged by our company for you.
Day 19: Final Departure
We will drop you to the airport and wish you a nice and safe journey back home.
