Panchase trek, one of the shortest, easiest and best family trekking route of Annapurna region is located near the Pokhara valley which starts from the beautiful tourist city Pokhara and ends at the same place. You can get only few places in the world have such a splendid variety of natural beauty as the Annapurna region. This trek offers beautiful scenery of snow-capped peaks, crystal clear lakes, and turbulent rivers with deep gorges together with Tibetan monasteries along with the unique culture of ethnic groups of Nepal. It can be done both camping and lodge trek as well and the maximum elevation of this trek is 2070m. The Picturesque views of Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Annapurna 2nd, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Lamjung Himal, old Buddhist monasteries, different sorts of flora and fauna and the unique culture of Gurung community are the main attraction of this trek. The simple and friendly ethnic people make your trek enjoyable and memorable.

This trek is popular for those people who are restricted by time to do longer trek during their visit to Nepal. The best season is from September to December and February to May.

 


Brief itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) by tourist bus 6/7 hours
Day 04: Pokhara to Phedi (1,130m) and trek to Dhampus (1,650m) 3/4 hour
Day 05: Dhampus to Badaure 6/7 hours
Day 06: Badaure to Panchase 4/5 hours
Day 07: Panchase to tower for view point and back to Panchase 4/5 hours
Day 08: Panchase to Dovan and back to Pokhara 4/5 hours
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus
Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 11: Final departure

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport is the only one international airport of Nepal from where you will be welcomed with a great hospitality by the representative of United Brothers Trek and Expedition and transferred to the hotel. After having checked in the hotel, we will give you a short briefing about the trip and collect the essential documents (Passport and Photos) from you to issue the trekking permits. You can rest the leisure time exploring around and stay a night at the hotel with breakfast.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu

You can get up in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will come to pick you up at the hotel and take for full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley (the world heritage site). At first, we will drive you to Swayambunath Temple. Swayambunath means self-originated Buddhist Temple which is known as Monkey Temple as well. It is located on the top of the hill from where you can see the superb view of the whole Kathmandu Valley. After having visited this holy temple, we will drive you to Boudha Stupa. It is a holy place for Buddhist and pilgrims which was slightly damaged during due the tremor of 2015 but later rebuilt. It is one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. From here, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple that is pretty close from Boudhanth. Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of the Bagmati River is one of the biggest and most popular Shrines where you can behold for Hindus. Pashupatinath Temple which is the biggest Hindu Temple. You can see the ritual and cremation activities according to the Hindus Culture. At the end of the day, we will return back to the hotel. By the evening, we will take you to a Nepali restaurant for welcome dinner with typical Nepali cultural dance. At last, we will drop you to the hotel and spend a night with breakfast.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) by tourist bus 6/7 hours

On the next day, early in the morning, we will go to the tourist bus station to head to Pokhara which takes approximately 6/7 hours. Pokhara is 200 km far from Kathmandu and the journey commences with the beautiful scenery of Trishuli River, Manaslu Himal, Lamjung himal and the green countryside. After 6/7 hours of long drive we will get to Pokhara. Pokhara a beautiful city is popular for tourist. It is the starting point of most of the short and longer trek of the western Nepal. It has its own value due to the tremendous view of Mt. Fishtail, Gangapurna, Annapurna iii, Lamjung himal, Stupa view and Fewa Lake. You can visit, Devis Fall, Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Barahi Temple, World Peace Stupa and Sarangkot. World Peace Stupa and Sarangkot are the best view point of Pokhara from where you can see the picturesque views of entire Pokhara Valley along with Mt. Fishtail, Annapurna South, Annapurna 3rd and Lamjung Himal. You can boat at Fewa Lake as well. We spend a night there.

Day 04: Pokhara to Phedi (1130m) and trek to Dhampus (1650m) 3/4 hour

After breakfast, we drive to Phedi which takes about 1 hour. From Phedi we ascend through jungle and stone stair trail and arrive to a small village. We continue climb up along the rice terraces with the beautiful views of Annapurna 3rd and green rural area and finally arrive at  beautiful village called Dhampus.You can see the magnificent scenery of Annapurna South, Fishtail, Annapurna 3rd and Lamjung Himal along with half part of Pokhara valley. We stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Dhampus to Badaure 6/7 hours

From Dhampus the way gently climbs up through green forest and crosses a small stream and makes a small climb then turns left to the Australian camp. The right path goes to Pothana and A.B.C trek. Australian camp is a huge and beautiful lawn where a beautiful campsite is made by Australian with their fund. After that, we continue our journey to Badaure through small up and down trail with the beautiful scenery of Annapurna south, Fishtail, Annapurna 1st, Annapurna 2nd and the green view of the countryside. After a long 6/7 hours of walking, we finally arrive at Badaure where we stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Badaure to Panchase 4/5 hours

Badaure is a beautiful village from here the trail ascends around 2 hours and then goes through a small village with easy way to Panchase. You can see again the picturesque view of Annapurna south, Fishtail and Dhaulagiri range and at the end of the day we will arrive at Panchase. It is beautiful village of Magar and Gurung. They are the indigenous people of Nepal and have their own culture. You can observe their unique culture and life style. It is the main destination of our trek and it has its own value due to its best view point. We stay overnight at lodge.                         

Day 07: Panchase to tower for view point and back to Panchase 4/5 hours

Panchase is a beautiful village. Today we get up early in the morning and make a long climb through stone paved way to the Tower for Sunrise and best view of the snow-capped Mountain. You can see the entire range of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. The stunning view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna 2nd, and Annapurna south, Hiunchuli, Fishtail and Lamjung Himal make the entire trek unforgettable. After having observed the superb scenery, we descend down to Panchase, have lunch and take rest the spare time. We again spend a night at the same lodge.

Day 08: Panchase to Dovan and back to Pokhara 4/5 hours

On the next day, after breakfast, we descend down to Dovan and drive back to Pokhara. You can explore around the lake side and relax after the long trek. We stay at hotel near the lakeside.

Day 09: At Pokhara

You have whole day free at Pokhara. Today you can visit World Peace Stupa by boating in the Fewa Lake. It is the most beautiful place from where you can see the entire Pokhara valley along with Annapurna South, Fishtail, Gangapurna, Annapurna 3rd and Lamjung Himal. After having visited the Stupa, you can descend down to David fall through the dense forest. We visit David fall cave and then return back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus

From Pokhara we return back to Kathmandu by tourist bus which takes around 6/7 hours. We stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu

Today, you have whole day free. So, you can do shopping and prepare for your final departure. By the evening we will take you for farewell dinner and drop to the hotel after dinner.

Day 13: Final departure

According to the rules and regulation of international flight, client must arrive at the airport 3 hours before of the scheduled flight. Hence, we will drop you to the airport 3 hours before for your final departure and say good bye until next visit.
