Lobuche Peak Climbing

Lobuche Peak is another popular and challenging peak for climbing which has been divided into two parts Lobuche east (6,119m) and west (6,145m) respectively. It is located in Everest region near the Chola pass. It is very famous among the adventurous trekkers and every year hundreds of clients come to climb it. It is a bit difficult to climb due to steep and rocky trail which needs a lot of training and techniques. It is one of the beautiful peaks of Everest region and being an attractive mountain, it offers various existing routes and also a potential for new ones. The East Peak is recognized as a trekking peak, whereas the West is known as an Expedition Peak. The dark triangle of its rocky east face rises over the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to a spectacular skyline, forming the south ridge.

There is no actual record who the first summiteer was. But the data shows that Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa made the first ascent to Louche East on 25 April 1984 .This peak is the best and fit for the adventurer climbers who want to make career in the field of Mountaineering. Hence, most of the Everest climbers come to summit this peak as a training and acclimatization in their initial period before heading to Everest. It starts from Lukla and ends at the same place.
